Dr. Chet Pai earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In addition, he was selected among many applicants to do an advanced endoscopy fellowship (ERCP & EUS) at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Pai is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is the only one in the surrounding area that has had additional training (certified) to perform EUS. His areas of interest include therapeutic endoscopy (ERCP, EUS guided FNA, luminal stenting, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)), colon screening, GERD, liver disease, and diseases of the bile ducts and pancreas.
Dr. Pai is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Pai recently served as the Medical Director of The Endoscopy Treatment Center at Mary Washington Hospital. He is committed to educating patients about their illnesses to enable them to be active participants in their care.
Dr. Pai recently received his Master’s of Business Administration from George Washington University and currently serves as the practice’s Managing Partner. Dr. Pai resides in Stafford County with his wife and two daughters. His interests include boating, biking, and working out. He has been recognized as one of the region’s top gastroenterologists by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
